The British Padel Awards: Post-Match Roundup
A few weeks ago, we announced that Vibora Hydrate would be stepping onto the biggest stage in UK padel as the official hydration partner of the first-ever British Padel Awards. Now, with the dust (almost) settled and the celebrations over, it's safe to say the event exceeded every expectation.
Held at Manchester's iconic Victoria Warehouse, the inaugural awards ceremony brought together the players, coaches, clubs, brands and personalities helping drive one of the UK's fastest-growing sports, brough to life by entrepreneur, Anthony Daulphin. While excitement had been building online for months, nothing quite prepared us for the atmosphere on the night.
After arriving early to set up alongside fellow partners including Cupra and Slazenger, it quickly became clear that this was going to be a special occasion. The venue was buzzing long before the awards began, with padel enthusiasts, industry figures and passionate players all gathering for what would become one of the most talked-about events in the sport so far. For Vibora Hydrate, the evening also marked our official debut.
As guests made their way into the main hall, they were introduced to Vibora for the very first time, getting the opportunity to sample our new electrolyte+ formula developed specifically for padel. From experienced competitors to newcomers discovering the sport, the response gave us our first real insight into how the wider padel community felt about the formula. And thankfully, the feedback didn't disappoint.
Many guests commented on the refreshing citrus flavour, while others highlighted how it felt noticeably less salty than traditional electrolyte drinks. For a product built around supporting performance without compromising on taste, it was incredibly rewarding to hear those reactions firsthand.
Once the networking and introductions were underway, attention turned to the main event itself. Throughout the evening, 21 awards were presented to the players, coaches, clubs and innovators helping shape the future of padel in the UK. Hosted by broadcasters Gail Davis and Jo Wilson (better known as The Smash Girls on Instagram), the ceremony celebrated the people driving the sport forward both on and off the court.
But the story doesn't end there. The British Padel Awards Cupra Cup takes place on 27th June at Racketeer in London, giving many of the event's attendees the opportunity to put Vibora Hydrate to the test where it matters most: on court.
After such an incredible introduction to the padel community, we can't wait to see what comes next. If the awards night was anything to go by, the future of British padel looks brighter than ever.
